“Nebraska’s ape-man, of which only one tooth has ever been found lived at a time when the ancestor of the American eagle was a wingless bird about eighteen feet high. And the bird must have appeared something like this reconstruction of it adapted from a drawing by the late Earl Christman, of the American Museum of Natural History.”
