Clarification of comments

Recently, I came across the following contained in a discussion of my great-grandfather’s theory with regards to the structure off the shore of Okinawa.

Over the years even Churchward’s family members have contested certain facts regarding his claims. Jack Churchward, the great-grandson to James Churchward offers a conflicting report that the tablets were in fact reed or papyrus since been rejected.

I must admit that I do not remember the conversation with the author, however I do now know that the tablets my great-grandfather claimed to find in India were clay and the ones that William Niven found near Mexico City were carved in stone. The author may have caught me before I even read a word of his works.

Oldest Calendar Discovered

According to one news report and another news report, Scottish scientists have discovered a calendar at Warren Field, Crathes, Aberdeenshire that started being used 10,000 years ago.

The twelve pits in ground correlate to lunar months, a concept that was previously thought to have been only invented 5,000 years ago in the Middle East.
Did the understanding necessary to create and use this structure originate in Scotland or was it common knowledge? If common knowledge, could it be a vestige of an earlier time, when humans had an even greater understanding of the earth around them?

Now that archaeologists know what to look for, perhaps more of these structures will be found and push the date back even further.

On the other hand, a recent news report indicates that new evidence shows another settlement concurrent with Mungo Man has been dated to 40,000 years ago (from an original 28,000 year old estimate.)

This expands the area of control that the original inhabitants of Australia and helps remove the idea that Mungo Man was alone…
